House Rules

Personal boundaries and lack of privacy are issues for both the family and the nanny with live-in jobs. You need to agree who will deal with the children ‘after hours' and whether time in lieu or extra money will apply for extra hours worked. Other important matters include rules about the nanny's visitors, curfew prior to workdays and your privacy when entertaining or on special occasions. You do need your nanny to be flexible but don't forget to acknowledge and compensate her when she has ‘gone the extra mile'.

Visas and Permits

Susan Rogan Family Care will ensure that the successful candidate has a valid passport and an entry visa if required. Bookings for outbound travel can be made on request. The client is wholly responsible for arranging extended visa and/ or work permits to meet the immigration and employment laws of the host country.
